Hockaday offers a dynamic and balanced academic program in a student-centered learning environment. Learning takes place in and out of the classroom where lively exchanges among students and teachers occur on a daily basis.
From the primary grades through senior year, the curriculum is rich in depth and variety. There are classes in English, language arts, mathematics, foreign language, history/social studies, the sciences, performing and visual arts, physical
education and technology.
In many cases, teachers use an interdisciplinary and integrated approach through classroom instruction, class trips, guest speakers and activities. Explore this area to learn more about each division’s curriculum, clubs and activities, faculty and events that create the Hockaday experience.
