At Hockaday, we know that navigating the exhilarating, and sometimes turbulent, waters of adolescence can be as challenging for a young girl in the 21st century as it is potentially enlightening.

Hockaday’s experienced counselors are on staff to help girls in Lower, Middle, and Upper School with both social and academic challenges. Moreover, a well-conceived health curriculum provides girls from Lower through Upper School with both the information and the grounding to make discerning life choices with unyielding confidence.

Altogether, it is a system designed to help shape and transform any uncertainties a young girl may encounter into the certainty of a young woman who is fully prepared to take her place in the world.

International students with varying degrees of language proficiency in English may enroll in Hockaday’s International Program. This specially designed program, offered through the Boarding Department in the summer, assists students with improving their English-speaking skills in a relaxed atmosphere. Many students from the International Program are successful in taking the entrance exam for admittance into the boarding program.
