The Hockaday School is home to five SPC Championships, the State Champions for Lacrosse and eight commitments to college athletic programs.
Hockaday's field hockey team scored its first-ever Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) championship win in 2007. The following winter SPC tournament, Hockaday athletes came home with a "triple crown," winning championships in basketball, soccer, and swimming and diving. In spring SPC competition, Hockaday golfers won the conference championship for the third year in a row. It wasn't long after when Hockaday made a name for itself across the state, bringing home the Texas State Division I championship title in lacrosse.
As one of the Four Cornerstones, athletics play an important role in the lives of many Hockaday students.
