Life as a student at Hockaday is full of opportunities – opportunities for growth and leadership, opportunities to give back to the community and opportunities to discover passions and pursue new interests.
At the Upper School level, clubs and forums flourish as students create their own venues for discussing hot topics and exploring new activities. Community service projects take place in all division levels, giving girls ample opportunity to learn the joy of generosity. Furthermore, students in each division can share their writing and poetry with their peers in the many student publications produced on campus. And if a student yearns to venture beyond the boundaries of Hockaday’s campus, we offer a co-curricular program with St. Mark’s as well as opportunities to participate in academic programs here and abroad.
For those who call Hockaday their home, boarding students find ample extracurricular activities to enjoy in the evenings and on weekends – from touring museums in the metroplex with their host families to playing intramural sports with their friends. Whatever your interests are, Hockaday is a place to find your passion.
