Hockaday Students Win US Rowing Central Championships

Hockaday students won the US Rowing Central Championships this weekend rowing for Founders Rowing Club and earned a spot at the Youth National Rowing Championships in June.

In this victory, they beat the reigning champion OKC Riversport Women’s Quad that draws from the entire city and has always dominated rowing in the Central Region – until this past weekend! Congratulations Taylor Toudouze (Class of 2017), Julia Mitterer-Claudet (Class of 2018), Anna Glasgow (Class of 2018), and Katherine Fraser (Class of 2017) on this amazing feat. In addition, Taylor also qualified to go to Nationals in the single by winning silver and Hannah Sipes (Class of 2018) qualified in the lightweight double by winning silver.
