Hockaday Students Selected for TPSMEA Choirs

Each year singers from the Upper School Concert Choir prepare and perform an audition for selection in the TPSMEA All-State Choir.

All private schools in the state submit auditions for their choir singers, and a panel of judges rank the singers according to specific vocal and musical skills. There are three regions in TPSMEA. The top 25 in each vocal part in each region are selected for the Region Choir, and these top 25 from each region are re-judged for the All-State Choir. The top forty in each vocal part then make up the 160-voice All-State Choir.
