  • Hockaday vs All Saints

    Hockaday field hockey defeated All Saints 7-0.  Jayna Khatti and Thandi Chisango each scored in the first half to make it 2-0 heading into halftime.  Hockaday found its connection to the goal and scored 5 goals in the second half.  Taylor Hua had two goals, Chisango added her second goal of the game, Shea LeRosen, and Lily Brown each scored.  The team earned 12 corners and only gave up one defensive corner.  
  • Hockaday vs Trinity Valley

    Hockaday field hockey was defeated by Trinity Valley 1-3 in a hard-fought game.  The first half had both teams going back in forth with neither able to convert offensively.  The third quarter was where all the scoring happened as Trinity Valley went up by two goals.  Jayna Khatti responded with a beautiful shot near the baseline to put Hockaday within one goal.  Trinity Valley countered back with the final goal of the game with 1:48 on the clock.  The team celebrated their four seniors:  Ellie Browne, Taylor Hua, Rachel Manley, and Caroline Warlick.  
  • Hockaday vs Greenhill

    Hockaday Varsity field hockey defeated a strong and skilled Greenhill team 2-1.  Greenhill got on the board first with a goal off a penalty corner close to the end of the 1st quarter.  Hockaday continued to fight and was able to tie it up just before halftime when Thandi Chisango scored off an assist from Jayna Khatti.  Chisango scored again at the beginning of the third quarter off a pass from Olivia Oh.  Hockaday defended six penalty corners and Rachel Manley had ten saves in goal.  The team will be back in action on Tuesday when we celebrate our four seniors before the Trinity Valley game.  
  • Hockaday vs Highland Park

    Hockaday Varsity field hockey heads into Fall Break with a 4-2 win over Highland Park.  Hockaday scored in each scored with Olivia Oh starting it off late in the first quarter.  Caroline Cohen connected in the second quarter to put Hockaday up 2-0 heading into halftime.  Highland Park scored back-to-back goals to tie it up midway through the through the third quarter, but Thandi Chisango responded to put Hockaday back in the lead.  Lucia Ubinas scored the last goal to secured the win.  HVFH is back in action next week versus Greenhill.  
  • Hockaday vs ESD

    Hockaday Varsity field hockey battled ESD to a 1-0 victory.  The game was scoreless until 5:30 left in the 4th quarter when Jayna Khatti connected on a cross from Lucia Ubinas to score what would be the game winning goal.  Hockaday dominated the offensive end earning 13 penalty corners and only giving up five on the defensive end.  Rachel Manley had several tremendous saves in the goal for Hockaday.  The team is back in action on Thursday versus Highland Park.  
  • Hockaday vs Holland Hall

    Hockaday Varsity field hockey fell to Holland Hall 0-2 in its second game of the season.  Both teams were held scoreless in the first half and then Holland Hall connected on a penalty stroke early in the third quarter.  Hockaday had opportunities earning nine penalty corners and taking 16 shots on goal.  Hockaday continues counter game play on Tuesday when they travel to ESD.
