Dedication of a New Racing Boat
A new racing quad, CORNERSTONES, was dedicated during an outside ceremony. Rowers, their parents, and faculty and staff joined Dr. Coleman, Coach Surgi, and Coach Forteith for the dedication of the boat.
Coach Forteith remarked “As we revel in the beauty of CORNERSTONES, we ask that the lives of those who learn and who race in her may be shaped by the values she represents…May CORNERSTONES ever be a victor, but if ever faced with defeat, may this team reflect the honor of her name and the Hockaday Cornerstones she proudly displays, valuing the joy of competition and celebrating the unity that comes with matching strokes together.”
