One Hockaday

One Hockaday is an all-school initiative to build relationships between students in Upper, Middle, and Lower School. From spirit rallies to community service, the One Hockaday activities are designed to encourage teamwork, leadership, and mentoring opportunities within a fun and spirited environment. Strengthening our all-school community benefits every constituent and builds School pride centered on tradition and our strong heritage.

All-school spirit rallies are a fun way to bring all three divisions together in support of our Upper School athletes. Giving every girl an awareness that others within the Hockaday community are supporting her and cheering for the team is a pivotal part of the One Hockaday effort.

Cross divisional activities are planned so girls from Lower, Middle, and Upper School have the opportunity to work together on fun and engaging activities. Whether meeting as First Grade and Form I buddies, or working on multi-grade level teams to complete a service project, girls from each division get to know other students, helping to expand their Hockaday experiences beyond their own grade level peers.

Although Hockaday may be divided into three divisions, in our hearts we are all One Hockaday.
