  • Extracurricular Activity Liaison Grades PK - 6th

The Hockaday School understands how important extracurricular activities are in building positive relationships among Hockaday parents, students, and parent coaches/leaders. As a result, the Hockaday Parents’ Association (the “HPA”) has Extracurricular Activities Liaisons for Grades PK-6th grade. As with all positions on the HPA, the EALs are parents who have volunteered their time to help us build these positive and inclusive relationships.
The EALs’ job is to handle the formation of new Hockaday recreational sports teams, Adventure Princess groups, and Daisy Scouts, to help new students or newly interested students join existing teams and groups, to assist with reorganization or re-formation of teams when required, and to help with the transition of extracurricular activities from Lower School to Middle School.
  • Final Transcript Must be Received by July 1

Your daughter’s transcript of work (for the 2018 semester) from her current school must be sent to the appropriate Hockaday division by July 1, 2018: Lower School Office, Middle School Office or Upper School Registrar.

Students' schedules will not be released if the final transcript has not been received by The Hockaday School by July 1. The form is located on the right side column of this webpage.
  • Hockaday Annual Fund

At Hockaday, we have a strong tradition of philanthropy and support of our School. Parents have consistently reached 99% participation in Hockaday’s Annual Fund and we are hoping to achieve that high level of participation again next year, beginning July 1, 2018.

The Annual Fund is a yearly effort that raises funds for the School’s operating budget. Tuition and fees do not cover the full cost of a Hockaday education – the gap for the 17-18 school year was $7,722 per student. The Annual Fund and income from the endowment help bridge this gap. Annual Fund contributions are put to use immediately and have a positive impact on every student at Hockaday. Parents are asked to make their pledge by November 30. Every gift counts! Last year, gifts from parents ranged from $25 to $100,000. Pledges may be paid at the time they are made or anytime during the year prior to June 30, 2019.

We hope you will become part of this time-honored tradition and join Hockaday families in support this essential effort to strengthen our School. We are truly grateful for the generosity and dedication of our parents. For additional information on the Annual Fund Parent Campaign, please click here or visit to make your gift online.
  • Hockaday Directory (print version)

The Hockaday Directory is printed each year during the summer for the benefit of the school community. It contains useful contact information for faculty, staff, trustees, HPA, and parents. Each enrolled student receives one copy of the Directory during Book Distribution. Additional copies can be pre-ordered.  An online directory is also available to view on the Parent Resource Board of the website.

The Directory will reflect home address and phone numbers for each family, however, if you would like your email address and mobile phone numbers listed, you must OPT-IN for this information to be included. You will find the Directory information form in your list of Back-to-School forms on the Parent Resource Board.
