Lisa Acuña Muñóz

Lisa Acuña Muñóz joins the Hockaday Athletics and Wellness Department as head JV soccer coach. Lisa has been coaching competitive girls’ soccer for 30+ years, 23 years in the DFW area. She currently coaches at the Renegades Soccer Club.

Coach Acuña Muñóz grew up playing soccer in the DFW area and her passion for coaching children began as a player at Texas A&M with the Bryan/College Station Soccer Association.  She has also been a part of the following associations/clubs: Spring Soccer Association, Coastal Bend Soccer Association, and Oak Cliff Soccer Association, and in Dallas; Arsenal SC, D'Feeters FC, and Sting SC.

Lisa believes in the development of both individual and team skills while emphasizing good sportsmanship, athletic skills, leadership, character, teamwork, and team spirit.
