Molly Ford Hutchinson

Molly Ford Hutchinson is Hockaday’s Head Lacrosse Coach and Sports Communications Coordinator. Since 2013, she has been the head coach for the Coppell Lacrosse Association girls’ program, bringing vast experience in building quality programs, maximizing the development and skills of her athletes, and providing opportunities for girls to compete at the next level. Her teams have competed in 2014 North District Finals, reached 2014 State Semifinals, 2015 North District Champions, and made runner-up at the 2015 State Finals. In her first season at Hockaday in 2016, she won the North District Finals and made it to the SPC Championship and State Championship. In the 2017 season, she led the team to a SPC Championship and a State Championship. Additionally, Coach Ford Hutchinson has been the girls’ program director for GRIT Lacrosse, managing all facets of building and guiding the program. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, as Sports Communication Coordinator for Hockaday Athletics Coach Ford Hutchinson will work closely with our Communications Department to build better community support for Athletics. Coach Ford Hutchinson graduated from Georgetown University where she captained the lacrosse team and was named to the All-American team twice. Named the Most Valuable Player of the Big East, she was also honored as the Hoyas Female Athlete of the Year. Coach Ford Hutchinson also played for the United States Women’s Lacrosse National Team from July 2011 – July 2014.
