Junior Charlene Brzesowsky Competes in China

Junior Charlene Brzesowsky competed individually and as the Head of the US Team II at the International Chinese Language, Talent and Knowledge Competition held in China. The American team won second place, and Charlene placed second for the Individual Comprehensive contest. The International "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition is a competition hosted by the Confucius Institute Headquarters. The theme of the 2018 competition was "Learn Chinese and make friends all over the world". The contestants from 110 regions in 99 countries won the "Top Five" through overseas preliminaries, three "crossing bridges" contests in China, and the five continents intercontinental final competition. The final competition consisted of a talent competition, Chinese Culture & grammar knowledge competition, and a two-minute speech.
