Rena Westerfield

Rena Westerfield began rowing in Atlanta, Georgia in 2015 on the Chattahoochee River with Atlanta Junior Rowing Association. She was a member of the team for five years beginning in the eighth grade and was recruited to row at Southern Methodist University in 2020. Rena rowed for the Mustangs for two years, both of which the team was recognized as AAC Conference Champions. 

 

Rena is finishing her Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Heath Management, with minors in Psychology and Sports Performance Leadership. She will be graduating in May of 2024 from SMU, with plans to continue her education by pursuing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
