Senior Named Coca-Cola Scholar

Zoya Haq (Class of 2023) is now part of the 35th class of Coca-Cola Scholars.
Zoya was announced as one of the 150 recipients and joins the 35th class of Coca-Cola Scholars. Haq is one of 12 scholars from Texas and the only Dallas recipient this year.
High school seniors across the country were selected for this extremely competitive award. Less than 1/6th of the top 1% of applicants were chosen. These 150 students were chosen from an applicant pool of over 91,000. The students were chosen for their superior skills in leadership, service, academics, and positive affect on the community.
The Coca-Cola Scholars will attend Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend in Atlanta on April 13-16. Scholars will attend the 35th annual Coca-Cola Scholars Banquet and participate in the Coca-Cola Scholars Leadership Development Insitute facilitated by scholar alumni.

Each scholar will receive a $20,000 college scholarship and join a community of over 6,750 Coca- Cola Scholar alumni. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation (CCSF) will award $3.1 million in college scholarships to young leaders. Additionally, scholars will be selected to be apart of initavites including a podcast called The SIP, and a coaching program that partners alumni scholars with first-year scholars as they transition into college.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is a joint effort of Coca-Cola bottlers across the country and The Coca-Cola Company. It is the largest corporate- sponsored, achievement -based scholarship program in the county. Including the 35th class, CCSF has provided over $81 million in scholarships over 35 years.
