Communications Department Chair Ana Rosenthal receives Gold Key Award at the CSPA

 Communications Department Chair Ana Rosenthal received the Gold Key Award at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Spring Conference (CSPA) in New York on March 9. "In recognition of outstanding devotion to the cause of the school press, encouragement to the student editors in their several endeavors, service above and beyond the call of delegated duty, leadership in the field of education, and support of the high ideals from which the Association has drawn its strength and inspiration" are the words on the Certificate that accompanies the CSPA's Gold Key.
 
Ms. Rosenthal has advised the literary magazine Vibrato, the newspaper The Fourcast and hockadayfourcast.org, and the Cornerstones yearbook since 2008.These publications have been honored with CSPA Crown Awards, NSPA Pacemaker Awards, ILPC Star Awards, and awards from the National Federation of Press Women and the Dallas Morning News.
