Registration
All new Summer at Hockaday families will create a family account in our online registration system, Active Network. Saving your username and password will allow you to edit your account, review and/or edit choices made, and print receipts for tax purposes. If you attended Summer at Hockaday any time during Summer 2014 through 2019, please log in with the email address you used to establish your account. If you have questions regarding registration, please contact Odie Milliorn at 214-360-6534. A non-refundable application fee of $50 per child will apply.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition for camps and classes is reflected in the program descriptions. A 10% discount on camp/class tuition applies to all registrations received prior to March 20. A non-refundable application fee of $50 per child will be charged to your account. A deposit of $100 is required at the time of registration. This deposit will be applied to your account balance.
An installment plan is available with payment in full being due May 1. After May 1, payment in full at the time of registration is required. Payment may be made by credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express, or Discover).
Payments will appear as ACTIVE, which is our registration management system.
Cancellation and Refunds
Refunds (minus the application fee) will be granted for cancellations made on or before May 1. After May 1, no refund will be made for withdrawals from all or part of a session. Tuition payments (minus the application fee) will be refunded only if an offering is canceled by Summer at Hockaday and an alternate offering is not available.
Communication
Upon completion of your registration, you will receive a confirmation email summarizing your registration selections. A welcome packet will be sent to the email used during registration on May 1, 2020 and will include attachments that will outline all the necessary information needed for Summer at Hockaday 2020. This information will include pick-up/drop-off instructions, what to bring to camp/class, and Before Care and After Care details. If at any time you need to reach the Summer at Hockaday office, please call 214-360-6534.
Healthcare
Summer at Hockaday employs a full-time nurse to serve campers and students daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our summer nurses handle everyday medical occurrences, dispense medications, and communicate with parents if a child is sick or injured.
Security
A secure environment is a top priority of Summer at Hockaday. Any visitor on campus, including parents, must present a valid ID in the form of a Texas Driver's License. Hockaday's security team will be present during carpool times as well as monitoring the campus throughout the day. Please adhere to the security standards set forth in the communication you will receive in your welcome packet, which will be sent via email on May 1, 2020.
