Dear Friends and Fellow Members of the Hockaday Community,

We are pleased to share the Annual Report of Gifts from the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year with you. In this report, the continued financial strength of the School is evident, thanks to the unwavering support of our generous community and friends. The positive impact of support from across our vast community cannot be overstated. Each gift, whether to the Annual Fund, endowment, or in support of a capital project, like the recent renovation of the Ashley H. Priddy Lower School, played a critical role in bolstering Hockaday’s financial position and in enabling the School to provide an extraordinary education and student experience for its girls. Hockaday could not deliver on its mission without the annual support of our community.

Each year, at this time, we present our Annual Report of Gifts, both to remember and to recognize the significant financial support provided by Hockaday’s devoted community. The generosity of Hockaday families, alumnae, faculty and staff, trustees, grandparents, past parents, and friends during Fiscal Year 2025, which ended on June 30, 2025, is remarkable.

As you will read in the Annual Report of Gifts, our community joined together and significantly supported the School; together, the Annual Fund and the draw from the Endowment provided approximately one-fifth of the School’s annual operating revenue, significantly enhancing Hockaday’s ability to provide a unique experience for its girls. In addition, with Hockaday’s future in mind, over $5.18 million was pledged to support the renovation of the Ashley H. Priddy Lower School, ensuring that the classrooms and gathering spaces for our youngest learners are updated, welcoming, and designed to support collaboration, creativity, and connection.

Our community provides the School with the critical resources needed to create innovative and forward-looking academic opportunities and programming, to maintain the School’s special and long-standing traditions, and to create a comprehensive student experience that prepares our girls to lead lives of purpose and impact. Thank you for your continued commitment to our mission and for your generous contributions, which allow Hockaday to serve and to educate the female leaders of tomorrow. We remain deeply grateful for your support.

With gratitude,
