On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students, I would like to thank you for your continued commitment and dedication to our School’s mission. Your generous annual support makes a marked impact, providing vital resources that enhance every facet of the student experience, allowing the School to innovate, while, at the same time, maintaining our treasured traditions.
Our campus remains a source of inspiration to our girls who learn, grow, and thrive within our vibrant school community. Our outstanding faculty and staff remain deeply committed to empowering each girl with the confidence and skills needed to seize the exciting opportunities that await her in the years ahead.
Over the past year, Hockaday's Board of Trustees has worked diligently to steward and strategically manage the School’s endowment and budget. Thanks to their thoughtful oversight—and your generosity—Hockaday is on strong financial footing.
As you review this Annual Report of Gifts, I am proud to share some highlights from the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year:
• The Annual Fund exceeded $3.1 million, helping to bridge the tuition gap, which exceeds $9,000 per student.
• Our Endowment grew to over $244.7 million, contributing $7,414,110 to this year’s operating budget.
• We raised over $5.18 million for the renovation of the Ashley H. Priddy Lower School.
As tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Hockaday education, your annual support remains critical. In addition to your support of the Hockaday Fund and of the endowment, your support of our capital projects—most recently the renovation of the Ashley H. Priddy Lower School—provides the resources we need to enhance our facilities. The Lower School project introduced new, welcoming spaces designed to support collaboration, creativity, and connection, with the new Daisy Imaginarium at the heart of this project—a vibrant, flexible space where students will collaborate on meaningful challenges and explore their learning in dynamic new ways.
Thank you for your unwavering support of our wonderful institution, which continues to make an indelible impact on the lives of generations of girls and future female leaders.
