    Bio
     
    Jennifer (Jenn) Johnson has been teaching at Hockaday for 15 years. She joined the Hockaday coaching staff straight from college, and she is the Assistant Director of Athletics and the Department Chair for Health and Physical Education, as well as the Varsity field hockey coach. She will teach Prekindergarten, Kindergarten/Primer, and Upper School classes during the 2018–19 school year.

    She earned a BS in Physical Education from Ball State University and later an MS in Sports Management from California University of Pennsylvania. In 2008, she was awarded the Deb Stalnaker Coaching Award given by the Hockaday Athletic Board. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Jason, and their three children.

    Jenn says, “The best part of working at Hockaday is that through teaching physical education and coaching, I can guide and inspire girls to lead healthy, balanced lives. Physical education and coaching provide unique opportunities to touch all aspects of a student’s well-being.”

    Bio
     
    Taylor Corrigan joins Hockaday as a Teaching Assistant in Lower School. Most recently Taylor was a second grade teacher at Mockingbird Elementary School where she developed and conducted small group and whole group instruction based on differentiated learning styles and levels to ensure all students were able to learn at their full potential. She accommodated and modified classroom content to meet the needs of general education students and those with learning differences within a mainstream, inclusive classroom. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she served as the sponsor of the elementary newspaper where she oversaw and published a student-created publication for students and faculty. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Business Administration magna cum laude and a Master of Education from Southern Methodist University.
