Hockaday Varsity Volleyball wins exciting match against ESD and captures 1st place seed!

In one of the most exciting matches of the year, Hockaday Varsity Volleyball defeated ESD last night to capture the first place seed for the upcoming SPC Tournament!  The match was tight throughout, with Hockaday dominating game one and ESD roaring back to win in game two.  The Daisies bounced back to win game three and game four was amazing, with ESD winning that one.  The match, in the destiny of game five, went back and forth with Hockaday taking the lead and winning by the score of 15-12.   The fans were amazing!  Girls from Crew and Cross-country came with a force, along with other classmates and Hockaday parents.  Together, they rocked the gym with GO HOCKADAY and rallied our girls in the win.  Hockaday captures the number one seed going into the SPC Tournament for the first time in many years!  They will get a bye for day one and play at noon on Friday, November 10th against the winner of game four, which is yet to be determined.

Congratulations to Coach Gass, Coach Francuski and our Varsity Volleyball Team!  And, a big thank you to all of our fans who showed up and supported our girls in such a powerful way!!
