Carpool Reminders
Everyone who picks up your child on a regular basis (nanny, relative, etc.) should have an official carpool sign. DO NOT USE A HAND-MADE SIGN. The official carpool signs are another way we can be sure your child is being picked up by an authorized individual. Drivers who do not have the official sign will be asked to show their photo ID, and their name must be included on the list of authorized drivers submitted on the student’s emergency form.
To notify us of a change in your child’s dismissal plans for the day, please email LSoffice@hockaday.org before 10:00 am, if at all possible.
Effective immediately, there will be a $40.00 late fee charged for supervision of children picked up after their carpool has ended. Grade-level carpool times are as follows:
PK/K/Primer carpool 2:45 – 3:00 pm
1st grade carpool 3:00 – 3:15 pm
2nd grade carpool 3:15 – 3:30 pm
3rd/4th grade carpool 3:30 – 3:45 pm
