Jennifer (Jenn) Johnson has been teaching and coaching at Hockaday since 2003. She joined the Hockaday coaching staff straight from college, and she is the Assistant Director of Athletics, as well as the Varsity field hockey coach.
She earned a BS in Physical Education from Ball State University and later a MS in Sports Management from California University of Pennsylvania. In 2008, she was awarded the Deb Stalnaker Coaching Award given by the Hockaday Athletic Board. In June 2020, Jenn earned her CAA (Certified Athletic Administrator) through the NIAAA. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Jason, and their three children.
Jenn says, “The best part of working at Hockaday is that through teaching physical education and coaching, I can guide and inspire girls to lead healthy, balanced lives. Physical education and coaching provide unique opportunities to touch all aspects of a student’s well-being.”
