Cross Country Runs Strong at Ken Garland

The Hockaday Cross Country Team competed in the Ken Garland Invitational 5K meet on Saturday 9/15 in Denton. Every runner posted season-best times with the following runners posting personal bests and placing in the top 10: Senior Adoette Vaughan (17:19, 1st), Senior Parker Hawk (17:19, 8th), and Freshman Leena Mehendale (19:40, 9th). The team placed 3rd out of 13 teams. Great job, Dasies!
Next week we’ll compete at Lovejoy. Runners who are running at McNeil on 9/29 will take Lovejoy off.
