Liz Holmes is an experienced coach with proven success coaching athletes of all ages and skill levels.
A native of Pennsylvania, Liz grew up playing field hockey and was a dual-sport athlete in Field Hockey and Lacrosse for all four years at The University of Pennsylvania.
She coached both sports at the middle school and high school levels at The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova, Pennsylvania for 6 years, as well as coaching for suburban Philadelphia youth leagues.
She has coached middle school field hockey at The Hockaday School for 4 years.
Additionally, for 12 years Liz has been the Head Coach of the SMU Women’s Lacrosse Team, which is always ranked in the top five WCLA D2 teams nationally. The team is the perennial TWLL D2 Champion. She is responsible for all aspects of the program, training, motivating and developing the athletes, many of whom have received recognition as All Americans and Academic All-Americans. She serves as the President of the US Lacrosse- WCLA Sub-Committee.
