Luis Aldaba

Junior Varsity Head Coach
Coach Luis Aldaba, known around campus as Coach Bear has been coaching at Hockaday since the 2006-2007 school year and has served the soccer program in all areas. He has been an Assistant Varsity Coach, Assistant JV Coach, and presently Head JV Coach. 
Originally from the Dallas but grew up in Monterrey Rayados Fuerzas Basicas which is one of the most prestigious soccer academies in Mexico. Following Monterrey Coach Aldaba then had a short stint in Madrid with Atletico Madrid and then Tottenham Hotspurs in London, England. 
In the past, Coach Aldaba has spent time with the United States National teams at the youth level from the U14's to the U23's. He has also worked with the Mexican National teams where the U17's won the World Cup in 2011 and the U23's won the gold in London's 2012 Olympics.  Coach Aldaba also coaches at the U.S. Academy Developmental Level in Dallas for FC Dallas & Andromeda.  Coach Aldaba currently holds a "B" License here from the United States Federation and a "UEFA A" License from England. 
The best memory Coach Aldaba holds from Hockaday is not the SPC wins but watching the new players to the program progress in soccer thru to their senior year.
