Varsity Assistant Coach
ckoranda@hockaday.org
Caitlin joined the Hockaday Team in the 2022 season. Caitlin began swimming competitively at the age of 5 and has enjoyed being in and around the water ever since. She continued competitive swimming through high school and took several collegiate recruiting trips.

Caitlin earned a full-ride academic scholarship to study Engineering, with a focus in Water Resources and Hydraulics at The University of Alabama. Since graduating, she has earned her license as a Professional Engineer and works on the design of natatoriums and swimming pools. Caitlin has enjoyed improving the aquatic facilities in the DFW area over the last several years and takes great pride in increasing the quantity and quality of aquatic facilities for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. She is currently on the design team for St. Mark’s new natatorium.

Caitlin has a total of 15 years of experience coaching and teaching swim lessons. Technique and stroke mechanics are Caitlin’s favorite part of coaching, and as an Engineer, she enjoys working smarter, not harder both in and out of the pool.  In addition to coaching at Hockaday, Caitlin still enjoys swimming with a local master’s swim team.
Caitlin is ecstatic to be a member of the Hockaday Team and is excited to help each student-athlete achieve her goals in and out of the pool.
