Hockaday vs All Saints

The Varsity field hockey team defeated All Saints 7-1 in its first away game of the season.  The team had 6 different scorers on the night with Maddy Charest, Gigi Spicer, and Mary Gum scoring in the first half.  The team really came alive in the second half making connections down the field and taking hard shots at goal.  Kate Clark and Libby Warren scored one goal apiece in the second half while Claire Tate added 2 goals.  Emma Schnitzius had 11 saves in the goal and was on fire keeping the team on attack for a good portion of the game.  Bella Heintges closed out the game in goal for Hockaday with 2 saves.  The team is back in action next Tuesday at Greenhill.
