HPA Cultural Connections Committee

The Director of Inclusion and Community Tresa Wilson and the HPA Cultural Connections Committee Chair Dr. Manju Bandarpalle invite you to join the HPA Cultural Connections Committee. The committee includes parent volunteers whose goal is to increase communication related to multiculturalism involving our parent community and to create a truly inclusive School culture across all four divisions. Through the implementation of programming, events, and analyzing practices, the committee will continue to think strategically about the best ways to recognize and embrace the cultural diversity of the Hockaday community by:
  • Investigating and increasing awareness of how culture impacts the development and opportunities of young women
  • Building multicultural awareness reflective of Hockaday’s diverse families and promoting cross-cultural relations that support the multiple ethnic backgrounds that make up our community
  • Raising awareness of local community cultural resources
  • Aligning with, and supporting the efforts of, Hockaday’s Director of Inclusion and Community
