Senior Lily Forbes to Represent Hockaday at Poetry Out Loud Competition
Congratulations to the Poetry Out Loud finalists, Lily Forbes, Annie Hurley, Ann Segismundo, and Neha Gottimukkala, for their excellent, inspiring, and memorable recitations. Lily Forbes will be the Hockaday representative to the Poetry Out Loud state competition in Austin in February and Annie Hurley will be the alternate. Poetry Out Loud is the National Recitation Contest sponsored each year by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation.
