Uniforms

All uniform guidelines can be found in the Middle School section of our Parent and Student Handbook on the Resource Board. Below is a snapshot reminder for both on campus and distance learning uniform expectations:
  • When your daughter is participating in our distance learning option, she may wear a Hockaday uniform shirt with shorts, leggings, jeans, skirt, etc.
  • No blazers will be required for Middle School students this year; however, they may be worn if your daughter wants to wear her blazer.
  • When attending in person classes, your daughter should wear a Hockaday uniform shirt, her Hockaday PE shorts, and athletic shoes (of any color) with her uniform skirt and socks. There are a few orders for PE shorts that are back ordered; in those cases, a student may wear any colored athletic short with her uniform until her regulation PE shorts arrive.
  • To further minimize transition time to PE and maintain safety protocols, on a day when a student has PE, she may wear one of her Hockaday uniform shirts OR her Hockaday PE t-shirt with her uniform skirt all day. If she wears the PE t-shirt, she may wear it during all classes on the day she has PE. If she wears her uniform polo shirt, she may wear it during all classes including PE.
