Fourth Grade Book Drive

The annual 4th grade Book Sale was reimagined this year as a Book Drive, and thanks to the generous donations by Lower School families, our 4th graders collected an amazing 3,995 books! Along with proceeds of $321.00 from the raffle drawing for five gift baskets, the collected books were donated to Reading Partners, a national nonprofit that mobilizes communities to provide students with the individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade.

Congratulations to our 4th grade girls for all their efforts and to the five raffle winners. We send special notes of appreciation to Mrs. Gina Hunter for organizing the book drive, to the other 4th grade teachers for their assistance, and to Mrs. Katie McLeroy and her team of 4th grade parents who provided the delightful gift baskets for the raffle.
