Sierra has been coaching athletes since 2015 and joined the Hockaday Community in the fall of 2021. She believes athletics help create well-rounded individuals and brings about a strong inclusiveness through the teammates. She feels coaching plays an important role in the development of an athlete and helps the athlete become great not just as an athlete but as a student. She started her athletic career as a gymnast and ranked Top 100 in the country in 2013. Ten years later she retired after Nationals before diving competitively her sophomore year of high school. In 2014 Sierra made varsity for the Plano Senior High Swim and Dive Team. From 2014-2017 she placed at UIL District Championships, UIL Regional Championships, and many first and second place wins. She received an athletic and academic scholarship to dive at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on their Swimming and Diving team. After four years as a NCAA Division 1 scholar athlete, she graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Accounting.
