Cultural Connections

The Cultural Connections Committee aims to recognize and celebrate the diversity and commonality of the Hockaday community and to promote awareness and understanding of issues related to diversity in its many forms (such as, but not limited to, racial, ethnic, cultural, socio-economic, and religious) in order to foster an inclusive community. We sponsor a variety of events for parents, from guest speakers and panel discussions to participation in Dallas Dinner Table, that serve as a platform for diversity and inclusion discussions and learning. Become a member of this parent committee to help support a school community where members from every background feel valued and empowered to contribute to its growth. To join, sign up here. A link to the Volunteer Page can also be found on the HPA Parent Resource Board. Select “All School Sign-Ups”. Please contact Supriya Gupta or Corrie Byrd with any questions.
