Hockaday vs Awty

The Hockaday Varsity field hockey team rebounded from its first loss of the season with a 7-0 win over Awty International School.  KK Swango started off the scoring in the first quarter when she collected a rebound off the goalies pads to put it in the goal.  Sunnie Wang scored her first high school goal with only 24 seconds left in the 1st quarter.  She was assisted by Camille Green and Addison London.  Seniors Landry Grover, Minje Kwun, and Anna Gum each scored in the second quarter.  Taylor Hua rounded out the scoring with two goals of her own in the fourth quarter, one with only 19 seconds left in the game.  The defensive unit held Awty to zero corners while the offensive unit earned 12 on the day.  The team rounds out their three game road trip with a game versus Kinkaid later today.
