Hockaday vs ESD

Hockaday Varsity field hockey dominated play but came up short versus ESD 0-1.  The Eagles scored early in the first quarter and the Daisies were unable to answer.  It was not for a lack of effort and opportunity as Hockaday earned nine penalty corners and kept the ball in their offensive end for most of the game.  Rachel Manley had three saves in goal and Lila Noack had another defensive save on the endline.  Caroline Warlick stepped up on the defensive end with several great step ups and tackles.  The team is back in action with another home game on September 7 versus Oakridge!
