Enhancing STAAR scores through games

Upper School's Spanish in the Community headed to Marcus Elementary in Dallas today to work with students. 
Hockaday students played enrichment games with Marcus students aimed at Spanish fluency for Staar testing. 

Spanish in the Community is a semester class that works with the Dallas Spanish-speaking community through practicum work in education, geriatrics, healthcare, community engagement, and storytelling. Throughout the year, they analyze and address issues specifically related to healthcare access within the Spanish speaking population and enhance language fluency through community engagement
