Jobs of the Future

Upper School students along with Eugene McDermott Head of School Dr. Laura Leathers and Upper School faculty members Karen Sanchez and Candace Townsley headed to Pegasus Park to meet OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar.
Sarah is also the co-launcher of Ladies Who Launch, an organization with a mission to inspire, empower and fund women and non-binary entrepreneurs globally.

Sarah spoke to the students about her journey, and what the future of jobs might be. “I don’t know what jobs you’re going to do because those jobs likely don’t exist yet,” she said. “Instead think about the characteristics you like. Do you love data? Do you like people? Do you want to manage people? What are you good at?”

Sarah is at Pegasus Park as part of the initiative’s speaker series. Tonight’s edition, “Ladies Who Launch | Helping Women Entrepreneurs Grow and Thrive” is moderated by Nicole Ginsburg Small ’91, CEO of LH Capital Inc. and Lyda Hill Philanthropies.
