A note from HPA President Bonner Mead Allen ‘94

Happy 2025! As we look ahead to what will surely be another wonderful Spring at Hockaday, the HPA is poised and ready to cheer on our girls, support our faculty and staff, and bolster our parent community.  I hope you’ll come be a part of it!

Many thanks to Jae Sun Kwun for her leadership as Chair of the MS Holiday Bazaar and to all our MS advisory parents.  It went off without a hitch, raising funds and providing an opportunity for our MS girls to learn how to produce, price, market and sell their products.  Also, our Teacher/Staff Appreciation team has been working hard to bring snacks and cheer to our faculty and staff.  Thanks go to Chair, Susana McNutt, LS Chair, Amanda Reilly, and MS/US Chair, Nikki Burress, and their team of volunteers, who have given so much to show our love for the amazing Hockaday faculty and staff.

Now, with the start of the new year, the countdown to our HPA Benefit begins!  Get excited for Mardi Gras on March 8, 2025!  What could be more fun than coming together with our uniquely wonderful community to support the school we all love?  Benefit Chairs Lauren Brown and Julie Ahmed and their Benefit committee have planned a fabulous evening.  Laissez les bons temps rouler!

See you at the Hockaday/St. Mark’s Joint Parents’ Associations Meeting on January 22 at 8:30 am!
