Lower School Athletic Team Parents

The following are athletic team group pick-up guidelines that were created to help facilitate the large groups of students who attend practices on campus right after school.

Please read the following guidelines carefully:
  • Students may not change clothes or shoes for athletics in their classrooms or during carpool. We do not have the supervision needed for this and are unable to make sure students keep up with their items.
  • The girls may take off their jumpers or skirts and change shoes when they get to the field.
  • Once a team list is officially set through Mrs. Branson, the students on the list will be allowed to leave with the designated parent volunteer on practice days.
  • 5-10 minutes before dismissal time, the parent volunteer(s) should arrive on the back patio by the Rotunda. Keep in mind, it takes some time to park, check in at the LLARC, and walk by the playground to the patio.
  • The parent volunteer(s) will then notify one of the carpool teachers that they are here to pick up the team.
  • The carpool teachers will have the list of girls who are in that day’s practice group. Sometimes girls may not be practicing that day and not realize it, so please check your list carefully.
  • If needed, the restrooms at Cornerstone Plaza can be used. If a student needs to return to Lower School to use the restroom, she must be accompanied by an adult.
Please make sure all parent volunteers that are helping with your team are aware of these guidelines.
