Students Selected to All-Region Orchestra
Last weekend, Upper School students participated in the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) Region 20 All-Region Orchestra Auditions.
Region 20 encompasses all schools from Irving, Dallas, and Highland Park.
Please join me in congratulating the following students on their selection to the TMEA Region 20 Orchestras: Sophia Z., Abby P., Calli L., Amel T., Ariella L., Ashley W., Emma Y., Jada R., Tari A., Livia W., and Hasya N.
A special congratulations to Sophia Z., who was named Concertmaster of the Region 20 Honors Orchestra, earning the top ranking among more than 100 violinists. What an exceptional accomplishment!
Save the date: The TMEA Region 20 Orchestra Clinic and Concert will be held December 12–13 at W.T. White High School. Performances begin at 4:00 PM on December 13 and are open to the public.
