Christine Ji Wins Inaugural DFW/Hockaday Brain Bee

Congratulations to Christine Ji (Form I) for winning first place in the inaugural DFW/Hockaday Brain Bee, a spelling-bee-like competition for high school students designed to generate interested in neuroscience. Christine will now have the opportunity to compete in the National Brain Bee Competition this summer.  There was a great turnout at Hockaday’s first Brain Bee Competition last Saturday, with 14 students representing three different high schools. 
 
Second place went to Rachel Shi of Jasper High School, and third place was Akshay Malhotra of The St. Marks School of Texas.
