Hockaday Model UN Sweeps Dallas-Area Conference

Hockaday Model UN swept all awards at the Dallas Area Model UN conference this weekend. Hockaday represented the countries of China, The United States, the United Kingdom, the Song Dynasty, and Russia in a  contemporary crisis committee. Though they won the best delegation award, the conference's highest award, the following students were also singled out for special recognition totaling the most single recognitions we have ever received:
 
  • Outstanding delegate in security council – Inaara Padani and Sofia Espinosa
  • Outstanding delegate in contemporary crisis – Elizabeth Guo and Kaleigh Beacham
  • Outstanding delegate in Economic and Social Committee – Christina Yang and Amanda Jin
  • Outstanding delegate in General Assembly – Bailey Hollingsworth
  • Outstanding delegate in World Health Organization – Tosca Langbert
  • Outstanding delegate in NATO – Mary Orsak
  • Outstanding delegates in Medieval Security Council – Maria Zhang and Emma Rose Shore
