A Message from Elizabeth Jones

Dear Upper School Parents,

On Tuesday this week, the Upper School faculty surprised the students with a “Faculty Follies” performance. If you have not already heard from your daughters about this event, please be sure to ask them about it! Read more

The girls laughed and cheered as adored members of the faculty showed off their many “talents,” including a dance performance by the English and Fine Arts Departments, an original musical number by the beloved Steve Kramer, Ed Long, and Andre Stipanovic, a tribute the Class of 2016 from the Senior Advisors, and more. These pictures describe only a fraction of the laughter and energy that filled Penson during this performance!

Our hope is that this show modeled the importance of spontaneity, not taking ourselves too seriously, and most of all, laughter. There is much to look forward to between now and the end of the academic year and this was just one of many Upper School events where we will come together for the sole purpose of enjoying and celebrating each other.

Best wishes,

Elizabeth Jones
Assistant Head of Upper School
