A Note from Nicole Escudero Christenson

Happy New Year! As we settle back into home life and routines after the Holidays, the start of 2025 offers a wonderful opportunity to reflect, reset, and set meaningful goals for your family. Whether it’s small adjustments or big changes, here are a few ideas to consider as you plan for a successful and connected year ahead:
  • Prioritize Sleep: Revisit nighttime routines to ensure your children get the rest they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Unplug Together: Dedicate at least an hour each evening to disconnect from devices, gradually extending to an entire evening or even a screen-free day to foster deeper family connections.
  • Navigate Online Spaces: Establish regular check-ins about your child’s online activities. Take time to review and update privacy settings on their social media profiles together.
  • Practice Gratitude: Create a family tradition of sharing something positive or a moment of gratitude at dinner to end the day thoughtfully.
As we move into the second half of the 2024-2025 school year, I am excited about all the possibilities that lie ahead. Thank you for your continued partnership and support in making this a rewarding and joyful year for your students.
