Socktober

It’s SOCKTOBER!  During the month of October, Middle School Student Council is collecting socks for donation to local elementary schools. All socks must be new. To ensure that the socks comply with DISD uniform dress code, socks should be solid white with no brand insignia and cover the ankle. Fifth and Sixth graders are asked to bring youth-sized plain white crew socks, and Seventh and Eighth graders are asked to bring adult-sized plain white crew socks. Middle School students will have the opportunity to wear special themed socks with their school uniform as noted below:
  • Crazy socks on Wednesday, October 22
  • Holiday socks on Wednesday, October 29
