Making the Pitch

Seniors in Breaking the Glass Ceiling presented their final product pitches in front of a panel of judges to compete for funding for their startup idea.
The winning pitch came from Nina Dave and Aishu Anbuchezhiyan, who created a dairy-free candy company called Classie that mimicked their favorite childhood treats. Winners receive startup funds and an alumna mentor to help them in their entrepreneurship journey!

Thank you to our judges: Abigail Hoak-Morton ’05, Vice President of Development at Child Poverty Action Lab;  Mallory Muse ’03, Vice President Community Development at the Muse Family Foundation Muse; Dr. Laura Leathers, Eugene McDermott Head of School; and Joan Guzman, Hockaday’s Chief Operating Officer.
