Parent Drop-in Day for Parents of 1st – 4th Graders

Parents of 1st – 4th graders are invited to visit Lower School classes on Friday, March 2 either from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. OR from 12:15 until school dismissal. Please note:  this is a parents-only event – no children, please.
 
Between the morning and afternoon observation times, our Lower School Parent Education Program will be presented from 11:15 – 12:15 in Hicks Meeting Room (Liza Lee Academic Research Center).  Dr. Lucy Smith, a local psychologist specializing in the treatment of eating and weight- related disorders, will be presenting “Building a Healthy Relationship with Food and Your Body” on Friday, March 2 from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm in Hicks Meeting Room. Dr. Smith will highlight many of the cultural, environmental, psychological, and emotional connections with eating and body image, as well as share specific tools and skills for developing a balanced relationship with food and your body. Parents attending the morning session of our drop-in day are encouraged to stay for the program, and parents attending the afternoon observation time may come early to attend the program.
