Marcus 1 Cross Country meet

 
 
Hockaday Cross Country had a great showing at the Marcus I Invitational held at North Lakes Park in Denton! In the Elite Varsity race, Hockaday earned 18th place with Adoette Vaughan ‘19 leading the way to finish 6th out of 240 runners in a time of 17:53.53. The average team time for the top five scorers (Adoette Vaughan ‘19, Parker Hawk ‘19, Leena  Mehendale ‘22, Jenna Hofmann ‘19, Lucy Young ‘20) was 20:24. Hockaday’s JV squad competed in the Varsity race led by Phoebe Knag ‘20 in 24:13. Hockaday had a great competition against some of the top runners in Texas and look forward to next week’s Southlake Carroll XC Invite on September 8!
