Hockaday vs ESD

The Varsity field hockey tied 1-1 against ESD in it’s second game of the week. Hockaday scored 10 minutes into the game when Izzy Shadle drove a hard shot to goal and Charlotte Benedict deflected the ball into the net. Hockaday held on to the lead until the second half when ESD connected to score. It was a fast and physical game and neither team was able to score again. Emma Schnitzius had 10 saves in the goal with 8 of them coming in the second half. Reid Cohen and Riley Carter did a great job in the back field stepping up and helping to create attack.
